Our fees are worked out over the full year or term and averaged over the invoice period. We do not charge for Christmas closure and the 8 regular annual Bank Holidays.
Kingsmead Day Nursery is registered to redeem Childcare vouchers and Tax-free Childcare (TFC). The Early Years Education Universal funding entitlement is 15 hours for all children over the age of 3 years old. There is a further 15 hours Extended entitlement, totaling 30 hours, for eligible parents. The 2-year old funding is also available for eligible families from April 2024 and 9months+ funding from September 2024. The funding is provided by Hampshire County Council and is available from the first term following their qualifying age/birthday. The funding can be stretched over 51 weeks to make the fees equal throughout the year. More information can be found here. Funded days are subject to a charge for meals, snacks and consumables: Full Day £15.00, AM £8.50 & PM £6.50. Stretched funding 11.17 hours/week £16.75/week & 22.34 hours/week £33.50/week.
