Our fees are worked out over the full year or term and averaged over the invoice period. We do not charge for Christmas closure and the 8 regular annual Bank Holidays.
Kingsmead Day Nursery is registered to redeem Childcare vouchers and Tax-free Childcare (TFC). The Early Years Education Universal funding provides 15 hours per week for all children aged 3 and older. Eligible parents can access an additional 15 hours, extending the total to 30 hours per week. For children aged 9 months and above, funding is available for up to 15 hours, increasing to 30 hours in September 2025. This funding is provided by Hampshire County Council and becomes available in the first term after the child's qualifying age or birthday. The funding can be spread over 51 weeks to ensure the fees remain consistent throughout the year. More information can be found here. Funded days are subject to a charge for meals, snacks and consumables: Full Day £10.00, AM £6.00 & PM £4.00. Stretched funding 11.17 hours/week £11.00/week & 22.34 hours/week £22.00/week.
