Meals

Kingsmead Kitchen

All meals are freshly cooked in our kitchen. We cater for all dietary requirements.

The children’s meals at the nursery are nutritious, varied and freshly-cooked each day on the premises and comply with each child’s dietary and religious requirements. We use fresh ingredients in our meals and provide fresh organic milk.

The children are provided with a morning snack, lunch and high tea. A snackbox is available all day which includes breadsticks, rice cakes, dried fruit and fresh fruit, for example kiwi, peaches, nectarines, satsumas, pineapple, bananas and apples.

In January 2016 an inspection was carried out by Eastleigh Borough Council Environmental Health Officers and as a provider of cooked meals for children we have again been rated as “Excellent” under the Food Hygiene Rating System.

The children love to create their own gourmet offerings.
Luckily our cook Debbie is there to serve something more edible at mealtimes.
